1. Unzip the download.
2. In Blender: Edit, Preferences, Get Extensions, the dropdown at the top right, Install from Disk.
3. Pick buildup_fx_free-1.0.0.zip.
4. Press N in the 3D Viewport and open the Build-Up FX Free tab.

Blender 5.0 and newer. The zip also holds a .blend asset library and a README.
